Well, it has begun. Natalie officially wet her bed for the first time since we were potty training. She said she had a dream that she was in the bathroom. I am worried now, because that is exactly what I did as a kid. So off we are on another adventure! We were so sure we had missed wetting the bed, because she trained so well! It doesn't help matters that Brady has started waking up soaking wet in a fuller than full diaper as well. So into the bath they both had to go!

I was a bed wetter, too...Im thinking you just have to go with the flow (no pun intended) and if it happens, it happens...it's not like she can do anything about it, especially if she is having "The Dreams"! Seriously...even as a teenager, young adult, and once as a mom, I have had the dream where I'm on the pot!! It's embarassing, but that is what bathtubs and washing machines are for!

Yeah, we had to reassure Natalie that it wasn't her fault if she thought she was on the potty! You can't get mad when it's an accident! I remember sleeping outside the bathroom as a kid just so that I could hop up and go potty. I guess lots of kids go through it, so we will see if it was just a chance thing or a new phase of our lives. And you know, the poor girl WAS embarrassed, even as a kid they are so sensitive, we made sure she knew it was an accident, and NOT her fault!

David got to the point where his normal diaper just wasn't taking him through the night, so we got those Huggies Overnights, and problem solved! So he wears his normal, walmart-brand diapers during the day, and the overnights at night, and man, is it worth it. And word, washer and dryers make potty-training SO MUCH EASIER!

You know Brady went through a period of time where he was out pee-ing his diaper every night, but then he stopped, But now he doesn't pee all day and does it at night! We are so confused, but you can bet I will keep you all posted!

I cannot tell you how much I love Huggies Overnites. They are the BEST! The regular super expensive Huggies actually do fairly well (my mom bought us some on clearance) but you can't beat those Overnites!

Shannon, my sister's son went through phases like that. Maybe it just means he's ready for potty training! ;)

Oh, poor Nat. Maybe it was just a fluke. And like the others said, just "go with the flow." There's a pretty funny camp story about a girl who was screaming in the middle of the night, banging on her bunkbed, "OPEN THE DOOR! LET ME IN!" Turned out she was dreaming she was trying to get in the bathroom and no one would let her in, no matter how hard she banged on the door. She really did have to go, and luckily we woke her up in time. She barely made it. Not really helpful to you, but a funny story nonetheless.
