Pancake dinner

So last night because Keith was gone for dinner I had to make something fun in order to make dinner a bit more pleasant. So of course we had pancakes (I even put chocolate chips in some....yummy!). The kids know this is a real treat to have pancakes for dinner, heck I would have breakfast for dinner everynight if I could! They had a good time and Brady was being really cute and saying "pancakes" in this super high squeaky voice. Of course when I tried to tape it he stopped. I kind of got it with a prompting, but it isn't the same, he is still pretty cute though! I love his voice.

Brady looks so grown up in these pics. He's losing the baby look.

Ick, I did notice myself in the mirror! That is my I am not going out, so why get dressed look! And I am not sure if I remember Mickey Mouse pancakes specifically , but I do remember that if we wanted pancakes that was something that dad made.

Oh, and that video is so stinkin' cute. I can't believe how much older Brady seems. And I love Natalie's little smile at the end. Such a teenager.

we love breakfast for dinner at our house! sometimes i wonder if i am being counter-productive when I load my kids up with syrup in the evening. hmmmmm?

LOL, we have thought the same thing! As the pancakes/waffles/french toast keep getting loaded on the plate the syrup servings get smaller and smaller! And normally we will try to have fruit or eggs with veggies in them to balance out...but it is so much more fun just to have a sugary dinner!
