...am I the only one that can't stand Beyonce...I mean Sasha Fierce? If I hear one of her songs ONE MORE TIME on the radio, or see her shaking her booty on the TV, I think I might puke.
Or Taylor Swift for that matter. Like, why does everyone think she is so awesome? Her songs are cute, and sweet, and safe for the kids to listen too, and actually not THAT bad. But, I don't think she is like AMAZA-ZING. I remember that one performance at some awards show where she got rained on, and everyone raved and raved and RAVED about how awesome it was, so I looked it up on youtube. Hmmm...I don't know much about singing, but she sounded weird. Let's just say, not good live. She is not a rocker.

Well that's the first time I've ever actually heard Taylor Swift sing. I don't think it's too bad. But Beyonce just gets on my nerves period. Although, funny - Bryce LOVES that "Single Ladies" song and even bought the single on iTunes. It gets played - A LOT.
I can't stand Beyonce's video for the " Put a Ring On it Song". I just dont think she looks all that great doing all of that Booty Shakin'.

not a fan of taylor swift, but i like her music ok. personally, i think she looks like a live bratz doll and i think everyone can agree: no one wants that.
i LOVE the beyonce singles. but it's probably because i'm addicted to the elliptical and the treadmill lately. on that note, i *have* to share the "Noodles" version of Single Ladies. i just *have* to! it's hilarious. you can mute it if you hate it that much but how flipping adorable!

She was off-pitch thru the whole performance, and that was irksome. That being said I have to say it's INCREDIBLY hard to hear when you perform live, and I have seen worse.
HOWEVER, I think Taylor Swift is just another Britney, Jessica, pretty blonde who can somewhat sing, which is an EXTREMELY marketable product right now. She'll get her due, and be forgotten just as quickly. Because the fact is though she's beautiful and has a bit of talent, it's definitely not enough to be remembered.

One good thing about Taylor Swift is she writes her own songs. That is cool. I am just not in awe of her yet...
Well I totally agree that Taylor Swift cannot not sing but she writes great songs if only some else sang them. She is cute and that's why people like her. As for Beyonce I really like her but her songs are definitely over played

Both Britney and Beyonce are on my i-pod, and both get played a lot. BUT – it’s workout music. Ordinarily it’s quite annoying – but when running, it ain’t bad. Same goes for Fergie.
As for Taylor Swift – I have to admit I like that “Slamming Screen Door” song (that’s her, right?) The singing’s not great or anything, I think it just reminds me of the teenage years . . .
Umm those that have a beef against Beyonce need to check themselves. As Kelli and I talked about this yesterday she mentioned and I agreed that Beyonce is a great performer plus she has a "normal" average looking body. She doesn't fret over not being rail thin, and she has rythem.

Wow! Apparently we all have mixed feelings about Beyonce, which is cool. I gotta say, just b/c she may have a great body (I would pretty much kill to look like that), doesn't mean I want to see it! LOL! I'm gonna go with Saucy and say that the main issue here is being over played.

ya, you are right. but the sad thing is that even if the talent isnt too great, if the effects are cool people are going to love it. what i want to know is what she whispered in that guys ear that made him smile. a fling possibly? :)
