Yes, and it was a waste of money! Poor Erin couldn't even eat her soup it was so salty, and Keith splurged on a steak because he got awesome grades (which I will post later) and it too was covered in salt! The only thind with no salt was my burger, and I am the only one that LIKES salt! Needless to say, though our waiter was suberb, we won't be going there again, too pricey for what we got.
How sad! Josh and I have been to Saltgrass and loved it! It's pretty pricey though so we've only been once for dinner. (We've been a couple times for dessert.) The bread and butter they bring at the beginning is wonderful. I ordered the filet mignon when we went (my favorite cut for steak) and it was great. Josh's food was good, too. And their desserts are really good. I'm sorry that you had such a lousy experience!
Hey Shannon did you complain to your waiter about things being too salty? If not you should have. Especially since it sounds like an expensive place! Never accept food in a restaurant that is not to your liking. Always say something about it and reject the food.
Yeah, we just couldn't bear to complain b/c the waiter was so nice! And yes the bread at the beginning was wonderful! We just learned go with what you know! We should've went to chilis!
We went to Saltgrass on our anniversary (south Arlington location though) and it was GREAT! And our waiter was so nice. I'm actually not a huge fan of their bread (and I love bread) but the cheese fries....Mmmm...
We've been to the N. Arlington Saltgrass and the S. Arlington one is definitely better! So if you ever decide to give it another try (they have awesome chicken) you could always go there!
Yeah, I am pretty sure we just ordered wrong, but I am afraid to go back and spend too much moolah only to be dissapointed again! So if anyone wants to take us AND pay for it, we will give it a second try!
Shannon next time complain to the management. You can still tip the waiter if he was nice. You won't hurt his feelings as your are not complaining about the service the the food. You might have gotten part of the meal free or all of it free. As Rene.
Well, we for sure learned our lesson! And next time we eat out and it truly is bad, we will complain! I guess I am just always afraid they are going to think we are lying just to get a free meal or something, like cheating them...I don't know! I guess if we would never go back their anyway it wouldn't matter what they though AND it would mean money back in our pocket instead of wasted on a bad meal.
Once at Saltgrass my steak was tough and the manager walked by and noticed and took the entire thing off of the receipt. $19.99! one other time at the Saltgrass in Rockwall, our waiter was a rude snot nosed kid and I did a comment card about it. They promptly sent me a $25 gift card! I still keep going back though, I am trying to keep my butt fat...
Yeah, of course looking back we wish we would've said something, but it is so hard! Next time we are at ANY restaurant, if it is bad we will say something!

WE LOVE SALTGRASS! Never had a problem with the salt.
That sounded abrupt, what I meant was, maybe ya'll had a bad cook?

Saltgrass is awesome!! The grilled chicken is the greatest! That is what my kids always order. The salmon is good too.

Um, good luck with that one.
And by the way, your review cracked me up!

Excuse the mistakes ladies. It is time for the insulin and bed.
