My handmade toys

Well, I finally completed my toys for the handmade swap I entered. I made a set of my felt breakfast foods, and I wanted to have something cute to send it in, so I made up this bag!
Of course the general shape is taken from multitudes of other bags out there, but I did it without a pattern. I am very proud of myself, LOL! I try to make things for a swap that I would love to receive. I would be happy to get something like this, plus Natalie LOVES the bag.
Not too shabby. I am already working on another one for a friend, and will probably make a bunch more. They are the right size for a lunch bag, or even scriptures. And they are Reversible! Woot!
And here is one with flash so you can see the bright colors better. My bedroom is a windowless cave. No natural light.

On posts like these, I'm only going to say "Etsy."

Until you do it.

Very cute! Seriously, where do you find the time? Do you sleep at all? I think I could maybe do the projects you do--but I would have to stay up 24 hours a day.

Kelli--one day maybe, but I would need way more time!

Danielle--we have a very small place, so I stick my sewing maching in the middle of it all, and snag a few minutes here and there, I do a lot of the felt stuff during TV time and at night. It takes me a long time to get these things done. The bag I did do in two days, but the kids played on their own while I did! It helps SO MUCH that I can be in the middle of where the kids are when i craft. If I had a room more separate I wouldn't do it as much!

Plus, LOL! I don't have a bitty baby (well, he's not SO bitty anymore, hehe) or a complex to run! You do so much, I don't know how YOU do it! I try and enjoy it while I can b/c one day, I know my "spare" time will be much less! LOL!

I agree with Kelli - where is your etsy shop? All your work is incredibly adorable and so well-made. There is actually a market out there for felt food, and I think you should offer your creations. Heehee.

And the bag is absolutely lovely! I can't believe that you didn't even use a pattern! Your craftiness is incredible. Well done! I love that you always put together things that you would want to receive for swaps...I was always the same way, and half the reason I don't use swapbot anymore is because I kept received crappy little packages. There is only so long that I can put so much effort into giving, and only receiving junk in return.

Ah, well. What can you do? :)

Thanks guys! For all the support, i get a bit nervous posting my crafts, but I don't want to forget them! And seriously, they are pretty easy to make, and take 2 fat quarters of material and a button or two...I would be glad to make anybody a bag :D
