grrr...

Every once in a while a person needs to vent about some silly things. For example, why , oh WHY can I not find any nice, normal clothes for Brady?? Are all little boys just supposed to wear sweat pants? I went to 3 stores today and all I could find in his size were sweats. For Natalie I could find a million different AND cute things, for Brady, you ask? only shirts with HUMONGOUS pictures on them and sweat pants! So, this means I have to break down and spend more to get him some actual jeans, and maybe a polo, or a long sleeve shirt that doesn't say MONSTER TRUCKS 2000!!! on it. I hate how I HAVE to buy brand name for him, when I can find such cute clothes for Natalie that fit our budget more, as a result the poor kid wears the same things over and over! But I refuse to have him looking like a hillbilly in sweats and a tweety shirt! He is a little boy and I want him to look like one! I mean a little picture here and there of a football or a truck is fine, but have you seen the stuff they are selling at Target right now Geesh! anywho, just a little frustration over here and I had to get it out!

Send an e-mail to the stores you want to carry nice boy clothes and tell them about your frustration. They do listen. Aunt Ruth

Grr about Target's boys clothes! I was just there the other day looking for some shirts for my boys and found nothing.

Add to that, the reason that I was looking for shirts was because they each got 2 pairs of pants from Target for Christmas and every pair had something on it break the first time they put them on. So I took all 4 pairs back and asked for store credit so I could get them something else instead. Now I just have to wait for Target to get some decent boy clothes!

Target! that is my nuber one frustration! They have those little shelf displays of circo clothes, that normally seem to last as long as they fit, and they always have the sweetest tops, sweaters and pants for Nat, but NOTHING for boys. Right now there are NO jeans, just really appliqued shirts! I just want my kid to have some stinkin jeans! LOL

Yeah, it's a weird time of year because they're between seasons now and someone thinks it's a good idea to bring in summer stuff in January! I actually found a couple of cute baseball t's for Ben at the Eastchase Target, but the rest is pretty much junk. Wal-Mart actually has some cute plain shirts (short sleeved) and Kohls and Old Navy are having big sales if you're up for a drive! (or just do like Julie and go to Grapevine Mills!) Good luck!

Oh, and I agree about the jeans at TG. I got three pair before everyone bought out the store when they went on sale a few weeks ago! If I come across anything I'll call you!

I would try The Children's Place. I buy alot of the boys clothes from there. Do you have one there? And when they are switching between seasons they can have some great sales. And their jeans are great--very durable. I usually buy from Gap for clothes that are staples in their wardrobe, long sleeve shirts and coats, because they are great quality and I can pass them down to Cole, no problem. Good luck.

Yeah, TCP is one of the places I can find stuff for brady, but that is brand name for us, LOL! I love to catch their sales. We also do haev good luck at Old Navy, and if I ever make it into a Gap their clearance is good. But you jsut cant beat those Target prices! I get jeans for Nat for 7.99! Love that!

Mini Boden is awesome, you can find them online. They are a little more expensive, but they always email coupons. The clothes are well made and adorable for boys. Plus- ebay is good for unique stuff.

Um, Dad? Just because we live in texas doesn't mean I want a hick son! Hehehe, just kidding, plus if I dress him from there I won't be able to see him...

And, Ashley I will have to check it out, but we are poooooor so Target can be expensive for me, LOL!
