Way Back Wednesday

Here is my sixth grade school picture, I actually don't hate it. That is surprising. But man, oh man, did I have some gangly teeth!
I finally found a picture of me with my first pair of glasses (bifocals). We were poor so these were like the only frames that our insurance covered, or so I remember!
We always had pets, these are some kitties we had at one time. I recall we took them to a farmer's market to try and give them away?? I am not sure how successful that was. Erin was a pretty cute kid! And that is my stepsister Cris, so cute!
Um, yeah, here is Mindi and I being retarded at Girl's Camp. I actually have 2 pictures from this day of us doing the same pose. Sweet. My shirt says "Legalize Freedom", it is some shirt I got from my dad, but it is hilarious because everyone thought it said "Legalize Marijuana". Um, take the time to READ people! I almost got in trouble for wearing it! Needless to say after I got reprimanded from some stupid leader that didn't read the shirt all the way, you couldn't pay me to take it off till it was filthy! Take that, authority figure!

Way Back Wednesday

In honor of tomorrow being Valentine's day (boy am I glad we did something last week!) I thought I would post some of our wedding pictures. We got married in December, in Washington state, needless to say, I was a bit cold!
This is one of my favorite wedding pictures ever. Firstly because I am eating, secondly because would you take a gander at that WAIST! Um, yeah I am pretty sure that was photoshopped!
And because I haven't been able to post a recent, decent picture of Natalie in a while I found these. Proof that I do let my kids get messy! Sometimes.
This was her first attempt at feeding herself runny, sweet potatoes. She loved them!

Way back Wednesday

Sorry these are a little late, I was busy getting a PERM (that right, a perm!!) today. I will post pictures soon, once I tame the beast and get it styled how I like it. Anywho, here are some more pictures from my mom. All three were new to me, but all were wonderful memories!

Sarah and I at Christmas time at my Grandma's, she LOVES tinsel! And I LOVED that dress! It was velvety and it was the prettiest thing I owned at that point in my life...sad.

Here I am in awkward child stage. I loved huge sweatshirts that came down over my hands. And check out those shoes! I must have been still growing in to them. This one made the cut because it has the Oregon coast! hurrah!

Another favorite outfit, except this one is missing a main piece, a strand of white round beads ("pearls"). I remember thinking it was so cute! A perfect white necklace to match the writing on the my pretty red sweatshirt. I loved this sweatshirt because it was from my Dad's school, and that was SO cool.

Throw Back Thursday

My Mom sent me a whole plethora of pictures from way back when. It was fun to see them, as some of them I have never seen before! Here is me getting what I think was my only perm as a child, unless my Mom subjected me to the torture more than once then I know this was in second grade. I remember wearing a hood over my head the first day back to school after I got it.
Here are the after affects on me. And that is my pretty sister, Sarah with her triangle hair, that we have learned through others was a popular look of the time!

Way-Back Wednesday: School photo edition

As I was digging back through my horrible school photos I had an "Ah-ha" moment, I just happen to have some of Keith's glorious school photos too! So Instead of just embarrassing myself I can drag Keith along with me!

Here we both are in 8th grade. There I am in my mid 90's body suit and hunched posture (all the better to disappear with) and GIANT glasses. There Keith is with his early 90's sideburns up to here (or should I say NO sideburns up to here!). I am sorry, but he is cute!












And to offset what may be the worst school photo of me ever, here is one of my favorite Senior Photos. It is me and my best friend Mindi. I love this picture so much! I wish it wasn't as washed out, but I think that makes it look serene, or something. I felt SO cute in that dress! And yes, Mindi is gorgeous!
And, just because I can, I found what has to be the most stereotypical Kindergarten picture in the WHOLE WIDE WORLD! It is my little sister Emily, and I just want to eat her up with a side order of french fries! I think she looks SO cute here! please forgive me smudge!

I think someone coined that term? I forgot to do pictures yesterday, well actually I just finally found the pictures tonight. I was sifting through the pictures and I came upon a few sets that I may have swiped from my Mom or Dad, oh well! I though I would start with some cute ones before I expose you to the horror that is my adolescent years....EEEK!

I am pretty sure this is me at my second(third??) birthday party.

Me and Sarah on my squeaky bed! That thing always gave away the fact that I was thumping, it is hard to thump quietly!

I still have that book and the blanket.
