Welcome Home Onesies

I made a few new things for the shop last night, and I am so excited about them! I remember when my babies were wee little things that I LOVED having something that actually fit them. Back then I didn't sew, so the only things I had for those first few weeks (well, days really...they sure grew fast!) were the tiny clothes from the store. Nothing special, cute, but not special.

So I picked out the smallest of my thrifted onesie stash and got to sewing. I call these my welcome home onesies, because they are small enough to bring baby home from the hospital in something handmade and cute!

Let me know what you think! Find them in the shop here. I love that the long sleeved ones have the built in hand mitts, it's the little details that are important! Don't want baby scratching her face!

You are so talented! One day I hope to be able to sew half as great as you can!

Totally adorable! I must say the crocheted topper you're using to showcase them is awesome too. :-)

Very cute! My favorite is the striped one with the fishie. It's so hard to find cute boy stuff. The ricrac is adorable, too!
