Thanks for Voting!

So the polls are closed and the winner was clear. The Family Bloggers tag won. I have to say I am glad because I really liked this one a lot. I like the ribbon, the black ornate paper, the staples, the green dots, all of it! I also was partial to the Archives choice, and so it is gonna have to stay. But who knows, maybe one day the others will make an appearance. Thanks all for voting, it is really fun to have a poll on your blog!

Help!

Because I am one of the most indecisive people you will ever meet, I am taking a cue from Pioneer Woman and I am asking my readers (you know you are out there!) to help me decide on which sidebar "tag" to use. I know which one I like best, well there are a couple that are my favorite, but I want YOUR opinions! Best part? It is totally anonymous! So vote away on my little poll there on the left! Please! Even if you never comment, please take a second to vote for your favorite of my little tags! My brain will thank you!

P.S. Maybe the majority choice will make it, but if I don't like it maybe not, that is the fun of asking for advice, you don't have to take it...LOLOL...but PLEASE be honest! Thanks all!

One step closer

Hurrah! I found the kit I am going to use for my blog. It has all my colors I love, love, love! And the stars and stripes and polka dots and a bit of fancy mixed in with it all! Oh how I love this kit! I would decorate my whole house with it if I could! Now I have to get to work!

Grrr...

...my blog is making me SO irritated. I just want to change the header ALL THE TIME, because I am staring at the dang thing so much! At first I was going to change it every month, but then I started wanting to change it before the month was up! So then I was all set to change it up for the change of the season, and then I got sick of the header I made! And after helping Ashley make hers and seeing how wonderful Kelli's turned out (I think the need for change is in the air) it has inspired me to really find something that says "Shannon" at least to me.

Only problem is, I don't know what ME is! I know what my favorite colors are, I know what things I love and hold dear to my heart, I know what things make me happy, but how do I get that all on my blog, and why do I even NEED to get that all on my blog? Because this is the first time in FOREVER I have had something like this that has lasted this long! And it is all mine! I love blogging, it is my outlet and my journal and my place to connect with friends. And all those blogs in my sidebar...I read them all! (and that is why I am looking at my blog so dang much, it is my starting point for my daily Internet dose!)

So anywho, it may be a bit nekkid over her for awhile, hopefully not TOO long, maybe some of you won't see it nekkid at all! But I am on a mission...I want to squash my need to change this bad boy ALL THE TIME, and get a look that I can stick with...for at least a month!!

I just can't make a header that I love, it is kind of like your wedding dress. They say you buy the first one you try on. Well, the first header I made I loved (especially the white frame), but I want something different. The blue one was NOT for me. I think this one is a bit more my style, my favorite colors (actually this is the only kit I have ever PAID for), but I don't know! I know it is just a blog, but I look at it ALL the time and I want to like what I see!

I hit it on the first try, but the green was a bit too bright for me, but that frame is so perfect.
Ugg, I don't know why I can't stand this one. Bleh!

Too much time on my hands...

When I am not working and I don't have to nap I just am amazed at how many hours there are in the day! I have time to clean, read, nap, play or....digiscrap! LOL! So my friend Mindi's blog needed a face lift for sure, and I wanted to give her one! Check out what I did here. I think it turned out really cute!

Restless

Now, that I know how to do it, I want to change my header all the time! For those of you that see my progress I apologize. Come back and see what I can come up with!

**Update** I am pretty sure this blue one is the one I am sticking with for the rest of August. I can't wait to do a back to school one for September!

Pardon the Construction

Sarah gave me some tutorials to make my blog more pretty than it already is! So pardon the mess, while I slowly switch to 3 columns and a nicer background (header STAYS! LOL). It will be slow going seeing as how I am at work...

*UPDATE* Still slowly working on getting just the right one, so seriously bear with the crazy color schemes!

Hurrah for Missy!

So, what do you guys think of my new look? I L-O-V-E it. It is the same simple style as Kelli's HERE, but more me. I love the colors, the stars, the polka dots (eep!), and she even snuck me in a little HOOT! Thank you forever Missy, I will never, ever change it!

Well, peeps, I think we have a keeper. Keith and I both agree that this is the one for me. My favorite was the first one, but, as we all commented, the see-through-ness would get annoying and mess up my pictures! :( Sad because I LOVED that one best. But, out of all the other ones this one is our favorite, different colored links, soft color that I love, and simple design. I think it will suit my purposes and I may use the butterfly one for a journal I have been thinking about starting. So thank you everyone for your 2 cents and good input! I think we have a winner!

Choice number 4-Whirls

I really like this one too. I also like how the links are a different color and on the purple one everything was purple so it was harder to see my links. So this one has a little variety. Ah, choices, choices...

Choice number 3- Purple Spirals

I like this one too, it has the solid background that we all agree is a must and it is a pretty purple. See, it is going to get tougher now...lol...don't get too attached to one quite yet! Pyzam is extensive!

OK, here is the second one I fell in love with. (Did someone else have this one at some point??) I like it because the text is on a solid surface.

Choice number 1-Green butterflies

OK, so I am finally trying out some new formats. I am getting really sick of mine even though when I try other blooger templates i always come back to this same one. So i got on Pyzam and started searching. I think I am going to do a new one each day and let my readers give their 2 cents. That way I can add all my links back after I am sure i have found the right one!

THis is the first one I saw that drew my eye. I think it is so pretty, but I don't know if it goes along with the theme of my blog, if that even matters.
