stop the presses!!!

I actually digi-scrapped something! It's been MONTHS since I have done anything, but I got the urge this past week when my favorite designer had a huge sale in her shop. (One of the things I bought is still available here and actually the other kit I bought is here!)Spent 8 bucks, got a TON of mini kits and now I am weeding through them to see what I can create.

Here is my first foray back into the world of digital scrapping, I forgot half my shortcuts, and couldn't figure out how to add the drop shadows without doing it a seriously round about way, but at least my desktop is a bit cuter for the rest of the month. I am not wild about it, but it's a start! The kids picture obviously makes it about 300% better!

Grandparents feel free to snag this and make it your desktop too! How can you not love those cheesy grins?

So, I have been putting off scrapping actual photos because I am at a few activities with massive amounts of pictures, and I am lazy! So I decided to try my hand at making desktops! Here are two I made. I like them both a lot. I would love to make one for anyone that is interested! All I need are a few pictures to make them personalized!

I just can't make a header that I love, it is kind of like your wedding dress. They say you buy the first one you try on. Well, the first header I made I loved (especially the white frame), but I want something different. The blue one was NOT for me. I think this one is a bit more my style, my favorite colors (actually this is the only kit I have ever PAID for), but I don't know! I know it is just a blog, but I look at it ALL the time and I want to like what I see!

I hit it on the first try, but the green was a bit too bright for me, but that frame is so perfect.
Ugg, I don't know why I can't stand this one. Bleh!

First Day of Preschool

Wow, wow, wow! I was looking through pictures and when I saw these I started crying! I can't believe how much Natalie has grown in such a short time! I remember her being SO EXCITED that first day of school, and now so much has changed! She is a little girl now, and she reminds me of that every day! Life needs to slow down! It is going way too fast.

Face lift

Though I love my header that I have had, I have been wanting for awhile to give my blog a face lift, so forgive any wackadoo color schemes you may see. I am working on finding the perfect one for me, created by me.

*Update* Well, this is it, for now...what do ya'll think?

Copy Cat

OK, so Jenny first had the great idea of making a separate blog to showcase her pages and I realized that is what I need to do too so I don't clog up this blog with all my pages! I am trying so hard to do a page a day so that I can get through these pictures and maybe one day get caught up! So if you do like to look at that stuff I will keep the new button on the right updated and all you have to do to go to my new blog is click on the picture, pretty cool!

Pretty Girl

I might need to start another blog to post all these, unless you readers don't care! The title on this one is CHEE-ZAY, but I think it fits!
I like the way this one looks, I tried to add stickers, but couldn't get rid of the background, but maybe I like it plain and simple. It looks like something I would paper scrap, and I like that.

I have been wanting to make this one since I very first started. I am not sure if I am in LOVE with it, but it needed to get done so I would stop thinking about it! (In fact now that I am looking at it, I am sure I am going to edit this one later!)

Hurrah!

Thanks to Bonnie and her wonderful, wonderful, WONDERFUL tip! I was finally able to figure out how to get started on digiscrapping with PSE6! Yay! Now I just need someone to tell me how to add these super cute little elements and get rid of their white backgrounds...any takers?

This page will be done (I think) once I can get rid of those white backgrounds! I am LOOOVING this!
