If it doesn't clear up fast enough with anitbiotics, there is a procedure that some chiropractors do (an endo-nasal procedure) to clear the eustacian (?) tube. It's not fun, but it immediately gets rid of the problem. I had it done about a year ago, and ironically enough my ear started bothering me last night so I will probably be going in to have it done again tomorrow. (Ryan could explain it to Keith better.)
