I'm always so paranoid that I'm going to lock my keys in the car at the gas station (my mom did it a few times, and so has my sister) with David inside the car!

And $120 is a lot! Technically, if there is a cop in the area, they have the tools to unlock cars. Most mechanic shops can do it, too. Just FYI for the future (hopefully you won't need that, though!). ;o)Carolinehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10163766807852531860noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5050555110380676620.post-19880423093695323022009-04-01T19:16:00.000-05:002009-04-01T19:16:00.000-05:00I think it's horrible how much they charge. It was like $30 a year back in the day which was way cheaper than calling a locksmith when I locked myself out of the car.

Of course after that I doubt that I ever locked my keys in but since they also charged batteries, changed tires, towed me when my car died and all that I've kept up the service.Mrs. Lhttp://watkinslynn.typepad.com/pages_pucks_and_pantry/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5050555110380676620.post-45982443038781942412009-04-01T00:46:00.000-05:002009-04-01T00:46:00.000-05:00Actually, I was looking into it, and I really thin...Actually, I was looking into it, and I really think we got scammed. I am going to do some more research tomorrow, and see why the heck it cost SO MUCH. 120 is WAY too much, but when your stranded with no phone, you dont think fast enough to say, FORGET IT, I will call someone else!

Sucks how life changes with a click of a trunk. Soo, don't feel like the Lone Ranger. Maybe you need one of those wrist thingies or a janitor's key ring on a belt. Bad timing, but we've all done it. Even me. Love.
